                            Moving away from the white coat: Dalhousie鈥檚 College of Pharmacy updates tradition 
 Dalhousie鈥檚 College of Pharmacy is changing the way it welcomes new students, helping the future pharmacists to provide culturally responsive care. The tradition for the past few decades was a white coat ceremony to welcome new students into the College, where everyone was given a coat that they will wear for their labs. The tradition was started by medical schools and adopted by pharmacists since they also wore the coats.
