Communication is one of Dalhousie's Core Competencies. The Communication competency is defined as 鈥淩eceiving and conveying messages (thoughts, concepts, feelings, ideas, information) effectively and meaningfully.鈥 Each week in October a Skillsoft Online video linked to the Communication competency will be featured here.
This competency states that Dalhousie faculty and staff be 鈥渃onscious of and responsive to non-verbal communication cues鈥. Through this gain an understanding of your own non-verbal signals and learn to recognize and interpret those of others.
