Fish-WIKS Mater鈥檚 student聽Amber Giles,聽补苍诲听Erin Keenan聽have聽recently been appointed new positions within Nunavut Wildlife Management Board and WWF-Canada (respecitvly).

Fish-WIKS Mater鈥檚 student Amber Giles, has recently joined the team at Nunavut Wildlife Management Board as a Commercial Fisheries Biologist. Congratulations Amber on your new role and best of luck with the future. We look forward to hearing about your new role!

As of May 2017, Former Fish-WIKS Arctic region Master鈥檚 student Erin Keenan left her position with the Nunavut Wildlife Management Board to accept a job with聽聽Arctic program as the Eastern Arctic Specialist, based in Iqaluit. In her new role, Erin supports WWF鈥檚 Arctic marine conservation programs, including marine protected areas planning and designation, advancing Indigenous protected areas, conservation of the Last Ice Area and North Water Polynya in the High Arctic, and community-based oil spill response preparedness. She also coordinates community outreach and engagement on behalf of WWF鈥檚 Arctic team.
